This place literally had me at first bite. My son discovered this place probably 2 or 3 years ago. We had never eaten inside because we wanted to just grab a pizza and go. So Friday my son really wanted to check off his foodie bucket list before his spring break was over. He is such a good kid plus it’s way cheaper than when he wanted Legos all the time. Now he is a 16 year old wrestler and gym rat, so Lego days are long gone. Now it’s all about the his favorite food places.
We were already out and about so I quickly ordered online and we went inside .
It was painted nicely and smelled very clean. My favorite part of DaddyO’s Pizza was the back wall with all the pizza sayings. I read all of them!
Although we have had their pizza, the main attraction for us at DaddyO’s Pizza is their Garlic Cheese Roll. I promise you if you love gooey cheese and a buttery garlic deliciousness of a roll then you will absolutely love this.
It was literally all my son was craving. Let me tell you he was in heaven. You can see he really enjoyed himself.
While we were there we asked Randy the DaddyO’s manager what his favorite was on the menu. Randy said, “His go to is the Fifth Ave.” I looked up at the menu and read what was on the pizza. I was surprised to see grilled chicken. I am not a fan of chicken on pizza. I love chicken but I never did like it on pizza. I have no idea why but in the past I just was not a fan of it. My son was game to try it (of course he was). So once again, I went with it. Why not?
Our order came out pretty fast and we were about to head out, when Diego looked at me and said, “I gotta have a bite right now while it’s hot.” So we put down the boxes and he went to work.
Talk about hot yummy cheese! I had to try the fancy Fifth Avenue pizza. Once again I am a believer. This wasn’t like any other chicken pizza. I think what made this different was that the chicken was grilled and there was feta cheese involved. I really had to control myself because we only ordered a small lol.
Overall I throughly enjoyed my quick visit inside Daddy O’s Pizza in Katy. We will be long time costumers as long as they keep serving that Garlic Cheese Roll.
