Thinking of a perfect place to have coffee with a hubby or bestie? Need a comfortable place to get your work done? Dulcédo Coffee in Richmond is a must-try! I have been wanting to come to this cute coffee shop because of its name. I would drive past it every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, week after week, taking my son to wrestling class. Finally, I made time to go with my friend.
I did my “review” research before going. It was pretty even on reviews on the sandwiches. Many people mentioned all of them. However, the coffee that was mentioned time and time again was the sea salt caramel latte. It just so happens I LOVE LOVE LOVE anything sea salt. My friend Georgia and I discussed it beforehand and she agreed she may have to order the same. We walked in at about 11:30 so there were a pretty good amount of people already inside. We walked up to the counter and placed our order.
As I waited, I took a look around and there was a board against the wall with notes from the employees. I had to get a close look but it had their favorite drinks. I thought that was helpful.
We found a seat tucked away in the back across a living room area, where two boys were playing board games that the coffee shop had on hand.
Not too long after, our iced sea salt caramel coffee lattes were brought over by the kind coffee shop woman. Georgia ordered a small and I ordered a medium. The difference between the sizes was not only the size but also the number of shots of espresso. Georgia’s small latte came with 2 shots and mine came with 3!! Give me all the caffeine!! The size is a good difference and boy am I glad I went with medium lol. Next time I’m getting a large. No shame 😅 I took one swig and I was in love!!
Our panini sandwiches came toasted and with a side of pickle. It looked and tasted fresh. The slices of Turkey and tomatoes were huge, making it a very moist sandwich. The ciabatta bread was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.
Our meal was very filling. Dulcédo Coffee at 26750 Farm to Market Road on 1093 in Richmond is a place I would love to go back to. I can just imagine sipping my large sea salt caramel cold latte and trying a breakfast sandwich while writing my articles on my laptop😉
