I booked APA Hotel Kodenmacho-Ekimae Tokyo thought Hotels.com for $77 USD a night for two nights and it was a great value. There were a few hotels in the same price range per night for a 3.5 star hotel but after reading some reviews this one really stood out as something I wanted to book quickly since there was only one room left at the listed price.
Service with a smile for sure is what you will find at this hotel. Check in was simple and quick and I later came down to ask one of the guys on staff about things to do in Tokyo and he quickly told me I should go check out the fish market. He drew me a map and even helped me plan a route to get there by train. The housekeeping staff showed me how to use the convenient washer that they have on site which is a bargain at about ¥400 yen to wash and dry a full load.
My previous hotel in Tokyo had a very small room but this was EXTRA small. Leave it to the Japanese once again for a very efficient use of given space. This bed was super comfy with nice high thread count sheets and super nice pillows.
The bathroom was so small it made for a bit of fun trying to capture the details of it. As you can see here a fully grown man takes up half of the bathroom. 😉
Everything was spotless in the room as well as the bathroom and even though I may make fun that the bathroom was so small it still was just fine for one person.
I would definitely book this hotel again because it had everything a single occupant needed which is exactly what I booked. I am sure that when I bring my family we will book a bigger room and knowing that the place is so clean and kept I will not hesitate especially if I find a great deal again.
Note: There was a breakfast buffet offered but I skipped this option, I heard from a few other people staying at the hotel that the restaurant had good food though.
