“Life is like an ice-cream cone, you have to lick it one day at a time.” -Charles M. Schulz. So very true! After eating at The Crab Pot Seattle, we decided to start walking around the Pikes Place area of Seattle, Washington to see what we would find. We happen to walk past Shug’s Soda Fountain and Ice Cream. The name caught my attention and I had to try it. Shug’s is a colorful and cute place, the sign drew me in.

We walked inside and it smelled so good, like brown sugar. I knew we were in for a treat. It was very tempting to get an ice cream float because they use their own house made syrups and soda waters . They had a-lot to choose from, but in the end the ice-cream won. We ordered off the menu. As we waited, we drank some water and looked at their merchandise while we waited patiently for our dessert.

Look at our first Shug’s ice-cream! I mean talk about WOW! The presentation was just delicious to say the least. We ended up ordering the Sunday Market. For $10 you can get a fresh fruit sauce and Ice Cream paired for a seasonal treat, waffle cookie, whip cream and a perfect cherry!! It was just like heaven in your mouth. Again, we shared this, ugh when am I going to learn to just order my own. Although it was the perfect size to satisfy our ice-cream craving.
